Zankyou Volume 2

Who’s up for MORE dark depressing shit?!

And here we are on volume 2!
If you wanna learn more about this series, check out our post on the 1st volume.
Things went pretty smoothly on this project, way more smoothly than I expected. Thanks to all the hard work people put in, this whole project won’t become any sorta long slog.
Like I said in the first post, the series is only 3 volumes. So expect the final volume to conclude the series sometime FAIIIIRLY soon.

Again, this is a pretty dark seinen manga with some pretty serious themes, so reader discretion is advised.
Hope you all enjoy!

JoJolion 73

Check out The Book! It’s a really great novel we released recently that’s a sequel to Part 4 of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure!

And we’re back. After a month hiatus. It seems like what Araki was doing on that month hiatus was drawing another Kishibe Rohan one-shot, as that’s running in Shounen Jump next week.

Anyhow this chapter’s pretty good. This arc seems to be a bit different than most, as it focuses heavily on Joubin. I’m pretty interested to see where this goes.

Zankyou Volume 1

Hey everybody. Who’s up for something dark and depressing? I sure hope you are.

Here’s the first volume of a project I’ve been wanting to do for a while now called Zankyou, meaning “Reverberation”.
It’s by Takahashi Tsutomu, an author known for his gritty dark art style with heavy use of pen-brush and macabre themes (Though some of his stuff is kinda lighthearted). He’s done a pretty large number of series over the years. Generally they’re all stories meant to be not too long, usually 7 volumes or less. But he’s done a lot. He’s mostly well known for the Skyhigh series, Jiraishin, and Sidooh.
One of his series, I translated a few years back called Hito Hitori Futari, which was scanlated by Illuminati-Manga. Which I also recommend. Though this series is a lot more grim.

Zankyou is pretty light on text and it’s only 3 volumes long (It ran in Big Comic Superior from 2015-2016), so I don’t expect this to be a big project. I’ve wanted to do it for a while but only had time recently.
It’s worth it to jump into it without knowing too much. But it is aimed at adults. It’s an existentialist kind of story about a young man trying to change the path he’s on.

This is the first volume, and hopefully the other 2 won’t take too long. I was gonna do it all myself but thanks a bunch to Bracketier, Huldra, and JoeAbandonedMine for volunteering to help out with it.

Seikimatsu Leader Den Takeshi! Ch. 19

Here’s chapter 19 of Takeshi! Here’s the intro I wrote about the series if you haven’t seen it yet.

Hey everybody, check out the new Takeshi chapter, it’s a pretty fun one.
Sorry these have been coming out so infrequently. I’ve had a bunch of real-life stuff to deal with the last 2 months on top of getting Innocent done and working on 81diver to push towards the end of that.
We should have some cool new stuff coming out soon I think some people might totally like maybe?!

Innocent Rouge Volume 7

Okay, it took a lot longer than I wanted it to, but we’re finally all done with Innocent Rouge Volume 7!
In this volume we at long last get into the real thick of the French Revolution and some of the major historical events happen. Though remember the story is mostly about the revolution from the perspective of the Sanson family, less so than the revolution itself.
I hope you all enjoy. Next volume is set to come out “Spring 2018” so we’ll see you again around then.
