Here’s a cool thing.

Okay, so we got raws late and then I had a fuckton to do when we finally got them. Most likely we’re getting raws late because the raw provider’s busy, so whenever he stops being busy then stuff’ll come out earlier in the week like normal. Probably. In the meantime, I have not slept more than 4 hours in 3 days and just spent all night finishing these so they wouldn’t be delayed any longer so I’m going to sleep now.

Thank you very very much for the releases for all the hard work
Thank you so much for your hard work and this release – you’re awesome as always!!
Thanks for these kewl and co. These are much appreciated, guys.
Thank you for the hardwork. Have been waiting so long. Once again thank you.
Thank you very much!!
Please get enough rest now, thanks again
Thanks for the release but you should really think about a proofreader. In the first place I don’t get why have you changed several sentences translated by BDR to sth that makes less sense. For example:
p. 9
Er..well I’m all for jumping on the bandwagon, but could someone tell me who he is?
vs.
Er..what? Well I’m all for jumping on the bandwagon, but but I don’t remember a bit of this…
p. 12
Kintoki: I know you guys figured I can’t use my brainwashing any more… But Tama’s efforts turned out to be in vain.
vs.
Even if I can’t use brainwashing anymore, Tama’s efforts life risking efforts will have been in vain.
I don’t even know where to start with this one. You’ve managed to completely screw up a perfectly fine sentence.
There are more examples, not only in this chapter to be honest. And I don’t even know English too well and I can spot them.
…All four of those read just fine to me…
The translation checking is in order to fix incorrect meaning. Not check for typos. Sorry I’ll try to watch out for that more, but like I said I was on no sleep doing most of this.
Thanks for the chapters
thank you for toriko. 🙂
Thank you!
thanks.
and get enough sleep now. 😉
Thank you!
Thank you thank you!!
Aaaaa finally! They’re finally fighting each other! Gin-san, you’re bleeding everywhere!!
>w< Thank you very much!!
Thank you so much guys!
Gintoki will always win everybody’s heart!
Thank you guys so much for the hard work! I don’t mind them later than usual, I’m just really grateful to weekly releases 🙂
Thank you thank you! 🙂
your work is amazing on Gintama.Really!! Thank you
All right all right, go to sleep, tired-as-hell scanlators are almost worse than none at all. The last thing we need is for you to collapse from exhaustion.
Thanks for the release~
Go sleep some more, you’ve been spoiling us anyways.
4 hours in 3 days is insane. Take care of yourself more ^^
Filter it less. It really looks bad- I’ll be honest, I rather read the sharp crisp raws uncleaned with the translation next to it then this. Don’t want to be mean or anything, but it’s really far too blurry and that’s not needed. It’s all far too smooth and it destroys details. Gintama’s magazine cleaning always was a cut below Toriko’s decent cleaning, but this chapter is a lot worse then the rest was. Hope you might consider reviewing your method. Thanks for translating both :).
This one is worse? And I was actually getting happy with how they were coming out… Sorry.
For this chapter, First I sharpened the raw, then used topaz denoise 3, leveled it, burned the grays, re sized the page, used topaz denoise 5, then topaz clean3.
I’ll try lowering topaz’s settings and not denoise after re sizing it next time.
by the way, could the image size have anything to do with it? most series, including Toriko, are 1300px height but for this i’m using 1400px.
No, bigger size is quality wise better then smaller.
I can’t say too much about your method as I don’t know the settings. However one thing that severely hurts the page is using Topaz denoise 5 after resizing. You’ll always want to denoise on full size, it already ruins things enough there. I also wonder why you burned the grays… Rather burn the blacks, as there are still visible dusts left on them.
ok, thanks for the advice.
And by burning the grays i meant the grays that are meant to be black, not the patterns… sorry for being confusing.
