I was thinking that since much of the humor in gintama is based off of Japanese puns (and it’s funny still even if us english speakers don’t get them), perhaps you could throw in a couple of english ones. I realize that this may take a lot of work, but I mainly ask because I think you should start calling the female shinsengumi in your releases the “Vaginsumi.” I think Sorachi would approve.

Sometimes I do that, sometimes I just leave a note. It varies from joke to joke which seems more appropriate. This is a very Japanese manga, so trying to forcibly translate it too much would come off as kinda overreach.
