Whew, here we are folks, new 3-Gatsu chapter. Now after all this time, the Shimada VS Kiriyama match finally comes to an end. When we were working on this we talked about how it’s been about 2 years from when discussion of this match started in the manga up till now. This manga comes out preeetty slooowly doesn’t it? But if you read the manga after it’s out you could read that entire arc of the manga in like an hour. Feels kind of weird. Anyhow, uhh… in theory the next thing that should be happening in the Shishi-ou Championship is Kiriyama VS Kurakuma though I’m sure some other things will happen in this manga besides shogi. Let’s see where it goes. There’s probably no chapter next issue so the next one will be around a month from now at a minimum. Or longer! I dunno! I never know with this series. Enjoy, everyone!

In the meantime I’m working on Managing Director Shima Kōsaku volume 1. I’ve finished translating a little over 8 of the 13 chapters in it so far. I started a new job recently after leaving the job I was having a ton of problems at for the past year so that’s been preoccupying most of my energy for the day so it’s hard to do a lot of translating in addition to that. Gotta not overdo anything. And I have some ideas for other shorter projects I could maybe do, not sure if I actually want to do them though. I’d also like to do more Gintama volumes at some point.
