JoJolion 14

Shit, why does nothing make sense around here…

Okay, this is all done.
We’re gonna try to do the “Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan” one-shot that came out in Jump this week as well. That’s a lot of work though, we’ll get it done at some point soon. (If you’re wondering about that 25 years with Jojo thing, you can get it raw online in a bunch of places. There’s nothing related to the story or worth translating in it. It would take an extremely long time and a huge amount of effort to do and it’s mostly just filled with really dull interviews.)
I’m still working on Gintama. It’s really text heavy and I’ve had little free time this week at all. I’ve pretty much used 100% of it to work on manga or anime translating in the past week and I still haven’t gotten much sleep.

Gintama 416 & Toriko 206

Gintama’s the kinda series where the author knows how it’s gonna end from chapter 1.

Whew… I’m so exhausted… Okay, Jump came out early this week. Here’s the previous issue’s Gintama and this week’s Toriko. This week’s Gintama is wordy as hell…
Jojolion 14 is almost done. As usual, we had to wait for Jfreek to get his copy of Ultra Jump in the mail, but he’s got it and scanned it now.
Also, this week there’s a one-shot of Kishibe Rohan ga Ugokanai a.k.a. Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe in Jump. So we’ll try to scanlate that, too. I guess.

Edit 10/3: There were a couple typos that I fixed. If you didn’t notice, it doesn’t matter really.

Toriko 204

Things look like they’re going pretty okay, right?

Gama took a while to clean this so it took a while. And I’ve been totally stressed out this week…

Anyhow, there’s no Gintama this week, so I’ve finally got some time to sleep, yay.

Edit: One of the pages was missing somehow. No idea how, because I had typeset it and everything. It’s fixed now. Links all updated.

Doubutsu no Kuni Volume 2

To another world…

Okay, so, this bears explanation.
Doubutsu no Kuni is a manga by Makoro Raiku, the author of Konjiki no Gash!!. Me and my group Anime-Destiny that did the later anime and manga for Gash started working on this when it started back in 2009. But, after a little ways into it we no longer had enough people to work on it. I translated up to chapter 13, but we didn’t have any cleaners and I didn’t have time to do typsetting myself. And nobody volunteered, so we couldn’t finish it. But recently, a couple people working on Jojolion volunteered to help finish this volume. So here’s volume 2 of Doubutsu no Kuni, which took 2 years and a few months to complete. I’m shifting it over from Anime-Destiny here to Hi Wa Mata Noboru because this group is generally my group for manga. I hadn’t started the group back when we did volume 1 of DnK and Gash, and I’d rather keep the media separate even though I run both groups. Especially when mostly it’s people in this group that are working on it. The plan is to try to get the guys working on Jojolion to occasionally work on this to get the project moving at some fair pace. Up to volume 9 are out right now. I had already translated up to the end of volume 4 since 2010, but we haven’t had anyone to work on it. Getting dedicated people to work on projects is usually the hardest task, generally much harder than actually doing the work. So hopefully this project will get going a little.
