There’s no new chapter next issue, so the next one will be in maybe a month or so (or longer, we dunno).
We got volume 16 and we’re working on that but it’s gonna take a while.

Meanwhile I’m still working on Takeshi, JoJolion volumes, and there’s no Ikoku Nikki chapter this month but the new volume is coming out soon. So I’ll have that too. But I’ve been overwhelmed with IRL stuff this week and haven’t gotten a lot done, gonna try to get some of that done over the weekend.

Hey, so here’s the first new chapter in a while!

Volume 16 comes out next week and we’ll be doing a volume version of allll those chapters (167-183) whenever I’m able to find time for it. Also the next new chapter of 3-Gatsu comes out in the next issue of Young Animal which comes out October 8th Japan time. So see you then!

I’m working on trying to get to the end of translating Takeshi whenever I have a spare minute but also we’re scanlating a volume version of JoJolion volume 27 and we’re also trying to keep getting actual finished chapters of Takeshi done too, so I’ve been really busy these last few days.

Here’s chapter 183! This one’s from Nikaidou’s perspective! Fun!

There’s no chapter next issue. It seems like we’re getting these coming out once a month fairly consistently, so the next one is probably gonna be the 4th Friday of July. Though volume 16 is coming out September 29th. So once that’s out we’ll be working on a volume-version of volume 16.

Here’s chapter 182! That’s a thing here.
I don’t really know what the deal is with the title of this. In Japanese it’s 道~みち~ (1). Which just means path/road twice, once in kanji and once in hiragana. So I just called it Path ~Path~. I dunno what else to call it. Uh, so if that ever gets cleared up I guess we can change it?

Also RIP Miura Kentarou. He and Umino-sensei were friends and based on what she’s said on twitter it’s been really hard on her. And I’m pretty sad about it, too.

Here’s chapter 181! This one is mainly about Nikaidou. It’s also got a color page!
The next chapter IS in the next issue of Young Animal, but they’re skipping the next 2-week period for some reason (I guess it’s a holiday maybe? Not sure) so the next issue comes out May 28th Japan time.
Meanwhile I’m just working on Takeshi until it kills me.

Here’s chapter 180!
I hope everyone’s having a good March. Here’s this! It’s a good chapter, this one’s 13 pages long.
So far the Young Animal website hasn’t updated its “next issue” page so I dunno if the next issue has 3-Gatsu or not.
Uhhh the next Ikoku Nikki chapter comes out April 8th Japan time. For now I’m just focusing on translating the 130-something more Takeshi chapters there are.

Edit: Ok they finally updated the Young Animal site. The next issue does NOT have 3-Gatsu no Lion in it. So the earliest the next chapter comes out would be the 23rd of April Japan time (Young Animal comes out the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month).

179… This is chapter 179… and don’t anybody forget it.
I’m exhausted from lack of sleep so… I hope you’re all having a good Friday. This was a pretty good chapter, which I worked really hard on translating, so I hope you like it and all its vague metaphors and cooking recipes. There’s no 3-Gatsu chapter in the next issue of Young Animal, so the next chapter will be sometime… in the future after that. So like maybe around a month from now.
Uh, as for everything else, I’m waiting on Joe to typeset more Takeshi, JoJolion v25 and v5 are in final checks, and I got Ikoku Nikki v7 which I’m gonna try to scan this weekend. I ordered Neko ga Nishi Mukya v3 which came out on the 22nd, so I’m gonna scan THAT one once I get it. So like just a ton of volumes being done all at once. And basically in all my spare time I’m trying to translate more Takeshi, as I’m now closing in on the half-way point at least.

Okay all, here ya go, here’s 176. This came out on Christmas Eve so it’s been tricky to get this done with… all other things happening.
Uh, there’s probably another chapters of 3-Gatsu coming… probably in not too long. I don’t know when the next one is and the young animal website has been down for a few days so I can’t check there like I usually do to see if the next one has 3-Gatsu or not.
Joeabandonedmine got his computer fixed (Hopefully for the long-term this time) so we should have more Takeshi out soonish. I’ve translated a lot more and I’m trying to keep going on it whenever I have a spare minute. Hopefully next year we can get through the rest of it, maybe??? Anyhow, if I don’t see you, have happy holidays and a happy new year, all.

Edit: I’m FAIRLY sure there’s no 3-Gatsu no Lion in the upcoming issue released on January 8th Japan time, just from Japanese sources on it. But nothing actually official because their website is down.
