The next chapter of Gintama should be done soon. Really, in order to catch up we need to get 2 chapters out a week for like 5 months or so. That or suddenly do a whole bunch. But for now I’m gonna really try to get two a week if I can manage it between me and the rest of the staff. But I’m focused on it now, and with a new typsetter for Gintama things are easier. So hopefully we can make that…

The next chapter of Gintama is almost done, it’s taking a couple days longer than I thought. It just has to be typset now. I’m working on the next one.

K, we got what seems to be a reliable raw provider so the Toriko chapters should be earlier starting next week. Hopefully.
Also last issue of Jump had a OP/Toriko collaboration crossover thing so we did that for the sake of completion.

This concludes Gintama V37. I hate that stupid crab arc so very much. Sorry it’s later than I said it’d be, that last chapter was reaaally hard to clean/translate and took a while, especially with all the other things I had to do last week.
Now we’ve got the volume done and there’s a link to download the volume as one file with the page numbers matching the volume.

Sorry about the delays again, guys. Idol had a power outage and couldn’t get online for a week. I was hoping to be caught up by now but because of the earthquake in Japan there’ve been problems with getting raws for Jump. We’re working with a couple other groups to find a solution for that. So Toriko 134 will take a couple more days at least.

As for Gintama, the rest of Volume 37 is cleaned and translation checked except for the last chapter, 328. So hopefully we should have the rest of that done next week. I finished a couple other long term projects so now I’m focusing on getting Gintama caught up with. Which is still going to take a while, but we’ll make it there eventually.

Also because of the earthquake, there’s no Jump next week. They shifted back issue 17 to the following week. In case you haven’t heard. We encourage everyone to be supportive of Japan, but I really don’t think we need any more long speeches about it. Give back if you can guys.

Edit: There was a mistake with a couple missing pages in Gintama 322. It’s fixed now.

Ok, so, long short of it is, Idol had computer problems which caused delays. He’s got it mostly back to normal now.
We’re about caught up with Toriko now, the last chapter we need to catch up on, 129, should be out pretty soon. Hopefully 130 soon after.
I’d like to have more Gintama done but Rufi’s been busy recently and hasn’t been able to finish the final wording after I edit his scripts, but several more chapters are translation checked and cleaned, so they will get done as soon as he has time and we typset them. Volume 38 is out now, too. So we’ll be doing volume scans of that, too. Though it’s only 6 chapters plus the Bankara-san Ga Tooru one-shot.

Sorry for the delays folks. We’ll really try not to let it happen again.

As for Gintama, the last chapters of V36 are almost done. We’re just waiting on Bomber D Rufi to put in the final wording on the translations after I translation checked them, and then we need to typset them. We’re gonna redo the first 3 chapters, too, with the volume raws so we’ve got the whole volume completed. Then we’re moving on to volume 37, then the magazine chapters.

By the way, there’s no Shounen Jump this week. It goes back into the regular release rate after this, though.

Ok, so now it’s time to play catchup. Toriko’s next chapter, 122, should be done soon. It’s got all the color pages and stuff about the TV anime being decided so it’s taking a while to clean.

Gintama, we now finally have enough staff members to actually complete chapters. Benii has joined to clean and Uber is helping me typset. Now for the daunting task of doing about 20 chapters we’re behind on and catch AAAAAAAAALL the way back up.
But I can do it because I’m totally obsessive. Several are already cleaned and translation checked. Then maybe I’ll go back and fill in that first gap between the 290-310 area, MAYBE. We’re using volume raws for now because… they’re better. Once we get up to the point where there are only the magazine raws we’re gonna use those.

But enjoy these. We’ll be working on getting more stuff out soon.
Oh, and there’s no Shounen Jump this week, nor one two weeks from now. So… maybe we’ll get more Gintama out those weeks than other weeks.
