K, we got what seems to be a reliable raw provider so the Toriko chapters should be earlier starting next week. Hopefully.
Also last issue of Jump had a OP/Toriko collaboration crossover thing so we did that for the sake of completion.
This concludes Gintama V37. I hate that stupid crab arc so very much. Sorry it’s later than I said it’d be, that last chapter was reaaally hard to clean/translate and took a while, especially with all the other things I had to do last week.
Now we’ve got the volume done and there’s a link to download the volume as one file with the page numbers matching the volume.

Ok, caught up. Like I said in the last post, there’s no Jump this upcoming week. I’ll be working on Gintama.

Also, we’d like to be able to get raws earlier in order to get releases done earlier. But raw providers are hard to find. We know of a place you can buy Jump early in an area in Tokyo, but don’t have anyone to buy Jump or scan it there. If someone wants to volunteer or knows someone who could help out with that, we could work something out with that, too.

Sorry about the delays again, guys. Idol had a power outage and couldn’t get online for a week. I was hoping to be caught up by now but because of the earthquake in Japan there’ve been problems with getting raws for Jump. We’re working with a couple other groups to find a solution for that. So Toriko 134 will take a couple more days at least.
As for Gintama, the rest of Volume 37 is cleaned and translation checked except for the last chapter, 328. So hopefully we should have the rest of that done next week. I finished a couple other long term projects so now I’m focusing on getting Gintama caught up with. Which is still going to take a while, but we’ll make it there eventually.
Also because of the earthquake, there’s no Jump next week. They shifted back issue 17 to the following week. In case you haven’t heard. We encourage everyone to be supportive of Japan, but I really don’t think we need any more long speeches about it. Give back if you can guys.
Edit: There was a mistake with a couple missing pages in Gintama 322. It’s fixed now.

Ok, so, long short of it is, Idol had computer problems which caused delays. He’s got it mostly back to normal now.
We’re about caught up with Toriko now, the last chapter we need to catch up on, 129, should be out pretty soon. Hopefully 130 soon after.
I’d like to have more Gintama done but Rufi’s been busy recently and hasn’t been able to finish the final wording after I edit his scripts, but several more chapters are translation checked and cleaned, so they will get done as soon as he has time and we typset them. Volume 38 is out now, too. So we’ll be doing volume scans of that, too. Though it’s only 6 chapters plus the Bankara-san Ga Tooru one-shot.

Idol hasn’t been online in the last week and a half and we can’t clean Toriko without him. So Toriko’s delayed until he gets back. Don’t worry, he always does eventually. We’ll get caught up as soon as he gets back.
Several more Gintama chapters are in the works too.
Update: We got some people to fill in. The guys from Juin Jutsu Team told me Idol is having problems with his PC, as I expected. We should have the 3 Toriko chapters we’re behind on done pretty soon. They also said Idol would be back soon. Still waiting for the last bits before we have all of the Toriko chapters done.
Update 2: Idol is back. We’re waiting until all the back chapters are one before we release them, which should be any day now. Just waiting for Idol to finish cleaning the last one.

Ok, so here’s the rest of Volume 36 of Gintama.
This includes the first 3 chapters which we originally used lower-quality magazine scans for, redone in better quality as well as the last 3 chapters. Plus all the extras of Sorachi-senei ranting about nothing between the chapters.
Thanks to Benii for cleaning, Uber for helping me typset, and Rufi for doing the original translations. I’ve been basically doing this nonstop the last 2 days so now, doing the translation checks and typsetting, I’m gonna go to sleep I think…
I’ll put links to the whole volume and also the individual new chapters. I’m gonna replace the magazine chapters on the releases page with these, too. For that chapter with a color page I kept a copy of that in here, too, with the page number with a “c” after it for “color”.
We’re working on Volume 37 now. It’s scanned and being cleaned. I did a couple chapters of translation checking so far. Volume 38 is coming out in February. It’s coming out with a smaller interval between volumes than normal because it has Sorachi-sensei’s One-Shot, Bankara-san ga Tooru in it, too. So I dunno we may end up scanning that volume, too. It depends on how long it takes to finish V37. Otherwise we could just go back and copy everything over with the same translation/typsetting, like I did with the first few chapters of V36, here after going through scanlations using the magazine scans.
Shounen Jump’s schedule returns to normal this week so there’ll be Toriko this week, too.
