Hey so I mentioned in some of the last few Gintama volume release posts and it’s finally all done! These are higher resolution fixed-up versions of V73-77 to match what we’ve done in the whole redo project of Gintama we’ve been doing lately. These also have the SFX that we had written in the margins before now inline and we also did a bunch of fixes to the text and also have the updated font choices. I also included the Koujien Fanbook versions of the color pages like we’ve been doing in the other volume releases. So these are as definitive as you can get and it also means we’ve finished volumes 48 to 77 all in high quality, high resolution volume versions.
Whew. Man we’ve finished a lot, huh? The plan is to finish out the V46 on volumes soon, Teppy is doing a final human pass at them. We’re also gonna redo V33-35 and then at some point soon, they’ll be mainly just higher resolution not much else, and I’ll try to do V36-45 at some point, which all will require heavy editing. Those are ones we translated in like 2010-2012 and also we need to put the sound effects inline. Then after that we’ll have *all* of our Gintama releases in high quality, that’s 45 volumes, at which point we may finally do volume 32, we’ll see. Man this has been quite a long project, it’s kinda hard to believe we made it this far. I hope people are reading these.
Also, we have a Discord! Come hang out and talk about manga. https://discord.gg/Nw45rfJYZF
