Seikimatsu Leader Den Takeshi! Ch. 34

Here’s 34! This one’s just a fun gag one-off. We found an okay-quality version of one of the color pages.
I forget if I mentioned this before, but for most of the color pages, we’d need to buy the old issues of Jump from 1997-2002. Which would be really expensive and isn’t really worth it. But occasionally you can find one online that someone scanned.

Right now I’m focusing on getting Innocent Volume 12 and the volume scanlations of Jojolion volumes 3-8 and 22 done. So stuff’s a bit slow going as those are all pretty big projects. We’re making good progress on them though.
The next 3-Gatsu chapter should be done pretty soon and Dascalon is making good progress on volume 15.

If you didn’t see the introduction I wrote up for this project, check it out here.
Here we are with the new Neko chapter! Please enjoy. This one’s pretty heartwarming, I thought.

I’m working REALLY hard to try to get more of everything else done. The last week’s been exhausting as I rebuilt my computer nearly from scratch and had a bunch of problems I needed to fix. I reinstalled Windows and had to re-setup everything. That’s all fixed now though. I’m trying really hard to make progress on the 7 old Jojolion volumes we still need to scanlate (Like redoing them using volumes rather than magazines as raws (It’s a good number of steps and can take a while). Plus I’m working on more Ikoku Nikki and Takeshi and the final volume (volume 12) of Innocent Rouge is now out, so I’ve been translating that. So I’ve got a full plate at the moment, but I’m hoping to get through a lot of this fairly soon.

Also Neko ga Nishi Mukya volume 2 is out now. So I’m gonna have to find time to do the volume version of those chapters at some point.

Anyhow, enjoy this chapter. Next one should come out in April.

And here we are at 33. This one’s a fun one-off chapter. We’ve got just 3 chapters left in Wide-Ban 2 now.
By the way, it’s around the last few chapters of Wide-Ban 3 that like… a lot of the main cast gets introduced. And we get into the first really big arc. There’s 6 big arcs in Takeshi and that would be the first one, the “Mummy Arc”. I think I’m gonna go with romanizing it as “Mummy” because it’s probably the least awkward one.

I’m hoping once we get the Jojolion volume scanlations going and I’m caught up with Ikoku Nikki I can focus on Takeshi a bit more, maybe get them out at a faster pace. We’ll see how that goes.

Edit: Photoshop screwed up one of the heart symbols on export somehow. I fixed that and reuploaded it.

Innocent Rouge Volume 11

Ok, here we are at last, volume 11. This took kind of a while because we’ve all had a lot going on, but here it is.
Volume 12 is going to be the last one. All the chapters that’ll make up volume 12 are out in the magazine now, so I’ll probably start translating them soon. Volume 12 itself comes out February 19th, so not too long from now. We’ll try to get it done not too long after the fact.

Meanwhile we’re still working on all that other stuff.

And here’s 13!
Again, I’d really like to get this series out faster so we could catch up to the current chapters in the near future. Gonna try to focus on this a bit more now that a lot of year-end stuff is done and Innocent is nearly finished.

Oh, also Ikoku Nikki got nominated for a major manga award, the Manga Taishou 2020 award. It was nominated for the same award last year. But it’s up there with some really good manga, including a bunch I want to check out sometime soon if I can find the time. https://news.livedoor.com/article/detail/17689789/

Ok, here we are at 94! First JoJolion chapter of 20202.
Everything else is the same, still working on getting more volumes done. Innocent Rouge v11 is almost finished.

Also there’s no new chapter of JoJolion next month in Ultra Jump. The next chapter (chapter 95) should come out March 19th Japan time.

Whew, ok, so this is finally done. Sorry it took a while folks, but we just didn’t have anyone available to work on it for a while.

This is the volume version of the first 6 chapters. Plus the couple extras that are only in the volume. It’s mostly the same just the image quality is a bit nicer than the digital magazine raws we used originally (Kodansha’s digital raws are generally pretty good to begin with, way better than Shueisha’s). Volume 2 comes out next month. I’m gonna see if I can setup a plan to do that one a bit faster, but Innocent Rouge v12 is coming out around the same time, plus we’re trying to get the remaining Jojolion volumes out, so there’s a lot going on in that area.

Meanwhile we’ve got Innocent v11 almost done, and I’m gonna try to get more Takeshi and Ikoku Nikki out soon. Dascalon is working on 3-Gatsu no Lion volume 15, too. I translated all the new stuff in it but we’ve gotta get the whole volume redrawn and such, so that’ll take some time. Look forward to all that!

And here we are at 31! This chapter ends the Herusii arc! We did it everyone! Now just 5 more chapters left in this Wide-Ban, and we’ll finally have 2 done.
I’ve been super busy the last month or two. I translated all of the new Innocent volume which is now being redrawn and typeset, Neko ga Nishi Mukya volume 1 is finally cleaned so I’m working on doing the volume redraws and transferring over the text for that, there’s a new 3-Gatsu no Lion chapter I finished translating and now Dascalon is working on it, the new 3-Gatsu volume is out which I need to scan this weekend and translate all the volume-only extras for, and that’s in addition to all the usual new chapters coming out and trying to get the remaining Jojolion volumes done.

So we have a lot on our plates at the moment but we’re trying to get more stuff out soon. I’m really hoping once we get through this handful of stuff I can work on getting Takeshi and Ikoku Nikki chapters out a bit faster.

(Mangadex is down for maintenance so I can’t upload it there right now).

Edit: Mangadex is back up so the link is added.
